Jumped timing!
i’m not a pro but it sounds like a bad battery
Could be the alternator. Since odler tauri used DIS systems which were powered directly from the charging system perhaps the vehicle is not getting power to the sparks plugs and the popping your hearing is collected fuel in the cylinders. Could be a a bad DIS modual or alternator.
Just a guess. Description is to broad.
haha because it’s really old…
seriously though, does sound like a battery or alternator
run it into one of the auto places and have them test it…it’s cheap or sometimes free
Ya it’s hard to say with the information given, but it could just be a bad ground. That’s what it sounds like to me. Check your connections to the battery, alternator and frame. But I need more info to help better.
