you prob have what is called daytime running lamps. this is a saftey feature which if i am not mistaken is required in canada, so most cars built in canada will have this feature even thou the car is sold in the US

alot of vehicles now and days have vehicles that have headlights stay on even during the day.if u want u caould call the ford dealer and see if there is a way to bypass the headlights running during the day.good lcuk

Most cars are going with "daytime running lights" to make you easier to see, this is normal.

There should be three positions on your headlamp switch. One is off, the other is on, and the last is auto. If they still come on when the headlight switch is off, then you have day time running lights that cannot be bypassed.
