Which wire is the Signal wire on the Mass Airflow Sensor on a 1993 Ford Taurus 3.8 ltr V-6 engine ?
I have found the letters A,B,C and D, corresponding to the wires on the MAF but what is what ? There are only 4 wires on this type of MAF.

Terminal A is the VPWR (supply) wire.
Terminal B is the Ground wire.
Terminal C is the MAF RTN wire.
Terminal D is the MAF wire.
Connect DVOM to Terminal C & D to get reading. Should have 0.4V with ignition on.
Best way to test is with a lab scope with engine running. If vehicle won’t start, unplug MAF sensor and see if it will now start. If it does, you have found your culprit. (If the MAF signal is completely missing, the computer will fake it and the car will start. It will run poorly, but it will start.)
