Where to get parts for a 1995 Ford Taurus?
Hi,
I have recently bought a 1995 Ford Taurus sedan. But, it needs parts like a hub cap, side view mirror, and overhead light interior pieces. Plus, if anybody knows a website or something that can tell me how to replace or fix some of these parts. I greatly appreciate your recommendations.

Look for local salvage yards. That was a very popular car and there are sure to be lots of them in those yards.
You simply bought a 1995 ford taurus sedan - oh boy.
Here is the name of number of the junk yard we use. Its not your average, run of the mill, crap parts junk yard either. They are VERY reputable, and have a great warranty, and nice folks. Hell, the last tranny i bought(5spd for 2003 cavalier) 400 bucks shipped to my door, WITH a 6 month warranty. Smith Auto and Truck, Garden City Kansas. 1-800-766-1022……..ask for Pites, tell em Wes sent ya. Good luck. Oh, and you can find their site online, and search their inventory there, but, to be honest, its a pain in the ass. Easier and faster to call. They drop ship to your door via Beaver Express, if thats an option where you live.
Junkyard.
It would all depend in your area, but what most people do uasually would be to go to a wrecking yard and search for the vehicle your looking for. It requires an entrance fee, say $5, and your own tools. What you do is look for the vehicle in a lot, get the part from the vehicle, and bring it to the front. Make sure you have cash on hand. The condition if the vehicles can vary, so it’s up to you, because buying it from the dealership or online is very costly. At leased try to determine what you can salvage from the wrecking yard from the ones that defintely has to be purchased from the dealership/online. But i can assure you that the wrecking yard can save you some money. Check around and good luck.
