where is the speed senser on my 1996 ford taurus?

   this speed sensor is located on the transmission with 4 wires going into it. this trans kind of wraps around the back side of the engine and thats where you will find it. good luck

   Speed sensors are located on the transmission. Probably two to three wires.

   Itd be on the tranny or on the back of your rotor, check for a tone ring there first before you go lookin anywhere else. Itll look like a ring gear
