There isn’t any more info than that which will be of any use to you.
Oh bank 1 is in the rear.
bank 2 is in the front.
ok, now there isn’t any more information that you can use.
Buy a good repair manual like Chilton or get one from the library. You might search the web for car repair tips there are some good sites.
Basicly they screw in like a spark plug
its going to be on exaustmanufold u well it it well be crewd in with a wire out of it
just take the old one out and put the new one in. It ain’t like your working on the space shuttle.
all o2 censers are in the exhaust system,,,,just start at the top of the ex manifold and work your way to the cat converter,,,it will be about 1 inche around and 2 to 3 inches long with two wires connected to it
Buy a new car with a new oxygen sensor and you will be fine.
I have a 1992 SHO (and a 1997 SHO for that matter). Your car has 2 oxygen sensors. You must elevate the front of your car to see them. The front oxygen sensor will be just behind the front bumper if you were to get underneath your car. The sensor for the rear exhaust will be just before the "Y" connection for both of your exhaust pipes to come together before the resonator.
They are very easy to see and remove once you crawl under the car from the front bumper. Again, like someone else said, they look somewhat like spark plugs.
As someone stated before they look like spark plugs
Go to http://www.autozone.com and look up your car. Follow instructions. You MUST have a special socket to fit this O2 sensor. Buy one. You auto parts store will know. Most cars are identical socket size. Not expensive. It may come off hard, or hopefully for you, easy.
