When do I use d2 in Ford Taurus 1994?
I am driving Ford Taurus GL (1994) on D1. It has D2 too. I have never used it so far. When do I use it?
Also, I can't figur out why its Antilock light it on. The car is running good, I havent noticed any problem with it, but this light is worrying me.

don't drive on d1 or d2 you're supposed to drive on OD. d1 is locking it in first gear d2 locks it in second gear and D won't let go into overdrive. driving in d1 or d2 will over rev your engine.
D2 is for going down hills and will use the engine revs to slow the car down without using the brakes. This saves the brakes on very large mountain road. Anti lock light could come on when a abs sensor is has dirt on it, loose, or just broken. Must likely you dont have anti lock brakes now.
