I would do this, but you need to.
Go to autozone.com and put in your car year and model, then go to buy an alternator for it. Write that number down, then change the year to 99, 98, 87 and 96. See if they come up with the same number.
It’s not that hard.
No, ford made the Alternator for 00-01 one clock postion….There are 2 types for Ford Taurus depending on if it is Dual Over Head Cam (DOHC) or regualr Over Head Cam (OHC).
