What Diff Tranmissions can i use in a ford taurus sho 1990 manual?
like lets say i am looking on ebay for a transmission what would i be looking for are all ford manual transmissions interchangable ? Can somone please help me?

What you are looking for would be an MTX-IV, you can find that in any SHO manufactured before 1995, and in the 5-speed Probes..
not interchangable…junkyard has the book on interchange
A trany out of a MX-6 or a probe GT if your sho is a 2.5L V6 if it is a 3.0 or 4.6L V8 it well not work!!!!!
