Top speed of the 09 Taurus 3.5 Duratec?

This is the response I got from Ford, attempting to find out the TAURUS TOP SPEED. " Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting the Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center regarding the top speed of a 2008 or a 2009 Ford Taurus.

Please be advised that Ford Motor Company does not provide information
regarding top speed due to the fact that we do not recommend driving above the speed limit".
The politically correct effete have taken over Ford, can you help me? By the way, I may buy a new Mitsubishi Lancer, the one with only one turbo and the beautiful front grill. Top Speed anyone?
