Tighter steering on my 1989 mustang?
Is there anything I can do (preferably just some adjustment, or replace something on the cheaper side) to get tighter steering on my 1989 Ford Mustang LX coupe 2.4L 4 cyl?
I would have expected a mustang to be tighter then other cars, but even my moms ford Taurus has tighter steering then mine.

Adjustable Upper and Lower Control Arms, Caster Camber Plates, Adjustable Shocks and Struts, Sticky tires, Springs, Strut Tower Brace, Subframe Connectors, and Sway Bars will all make the car handle great. Adjustables are a must, you can make it a drag car or a street car.
Its because the car is old. Alot of stuff wears down, I owned a 89 Probe and it was the same way. The springs are a good place to start and not too costly though replacing them yourself is a pain. A good set of rims and tires can help as well (better traction) but nothing like the springs well. Replace all 4 not just the front.
look on the stearing box . there is a nut with a alan typ plug in the middle of it . loosen the outer nut and tighten the canter one then tighten the outer . do tis until you get what you want . dont turn center nut more than 1/4 turn at a time
