I got this idea from reading about the new custom-built ,000 jeep. A lot of people were saying that they would buy a used vehicle, and "pimp my ride" it up into something custom-built.
If I gave you ,000 and asked you to buy/rebuild a vehicle for me, what do you suggest?
I am tall, 6’2", 280 lbs (weightlifter), big, wide and heavy. I like to drive; so I need auto, air, cruise, nice stereo, great headlights and good tail lights for those fog days. We get a lot of rain; so probably no to pickup trucks; I see too many of them spin out without warning on the roads. I was THINKING about the 2012 Ford Police car Taurus when it comes for sale to the public in 2013; and then customize it (how about red exterior and black interior) and change the strobes to yellow. Just worried about the Dodge Charger, RTX or police version. Dodges need a lot of repairs.
My Taurus weights 3350lbs and I was wondering what they dry weights of a 1991 Ford Ranger 2.3 Regular Cab Long Bed would be? If you don’t know exactly do you think it would weight more or less than the 3350lb Taurus? Thanks.

I have an ’01 Taurus, and i want to install an aftermarket head unit so i can play audio cd’s instead of just radio. however i don’t see where its possible as both my radio, and a/c control are on the same panel. how can this be done with out re-fabing the panel?

Why FORD? Why did you paste the good Taurus name on the NON-SELLING Ford 500? Have anyone seen the, pains me to say, "new" Taurus? Man all it is, is the Ford 500 renamed. It is true the 500 replaced the Taurus, but the 500 came out with a new design to replace the Taurus, a design that apparently is not selling, I guess that is my point, change the design. Don’t just rename it to the car that did sell, make it a car that will sell who cares what it is called.

Does anyone know what is the minimum speed you must be going to enable the use or cruise control on an 2008 Taurus? Iv only tried it doing about 30-40mph and it wont work… I realize that the cruise control feature is intended for highway use, but I find it weird you can’t use it whenever you want too. is their any cars that let you use cruise control freely? (at any speed)?

my 1987 taurus is not getting spark to the fuel injectors.all inline fuses are good.has new comp, map sensor,and dist. module. And good fuel pressure. Have I missed something?
it also has a new coil. I can spray fuel into the air inlet and it will run for a few seconds

I’m installing subwoofers in my 07 Taurus and I decided to keep the stick radio. I have an LOC so that I can hook up the RCA cables, but I can’t figure out which wires are the ones that I need to hook the converter to. Help appreciated
