i just learned that there’s a difference between flushing it and changing it….i want to flush it…..how do i do that?

I recently purchased a 2007 Mercedes Benz C230WZ, but the Taurus is my baby, I’ll never get rid of it. I just need a web site to buy aftermarket parts for it to kind of make it look nice, grills, interior, engine,…etc. everythign but rims..I’m grown.

1991 Taurus has reverse and first.I heard there are shorts that develop in the sensor wiring harnesses, and that the wiring connecter plug to the shift cyliniods can have the insulation melt by engine heat, thereby causing a bad signal going to the computer.

I need to change the rear brakes on my Taurus and i want to know if anyone has a manual or any steps that i can do to take everything off and to change my brakes.

I need to know if any of the 90 years alternators will fit my 01 taurus.

I have a 2000 Taurus doc. and when it idle’s it will die, when i first start it up it idle’s at about 1100 for about 20seconds then drops below 1000, then it will die, it has died on me while sitting at a stop light a few times now, i have replaced the fuel filter thinking it will fix it but it did not do much. does anyone know whats going on?

i have a taurus 2000 SEL and the stereo and the climate controls (electronic) are one unit… i want to put a different stereo in there but i dont know how to do it with the climate control and the stereo being one unit… any suggestions?
and are there any kits where i can keep the electronic climate controls??

Im about to replace my factory speakers in my car but i don’t know exactly what size are my speakers in back of my 1996 taurus

just put a newe trans in it and motor only has 38,000 on it. the frame is done and body but motor still starts right up like nothing happend my ? is if i can find another taurus with a bad mototr and trans if mine still works fine does it have to go into the same year taurus or no?

I am needing to tow a 350Z across the country and am wondering if putting a hitch on my taurus would be the best way to go. Help!!!

Ok, so Im 17 and looking to buy my first car. I found a taurus with 72,000 miles on it. The car has no mechanical problems, only a couple of scratches. The only thing wrong with it is that the heat does not blow out very hot. they have the title on hand. The owner is selling it for ,000 because they do not need 3 cars. It seems like a great deal to me, but then again it sounds too good to be true.

I’m trying to install LED lights and that requires finding the parking light wire. If I could find that I would be able to do the rest. Anybody know?
I’m not looking to buy a wire, I’m asking where it is located on the car…

I do know where the parking lights are, I’m just looking for the wire that runs under the dash and having some difficulties.

Yes, I know, the 1991 Taurus is a rather ugly car, but it’s what I have so it’s what I deal with.

The thing is, the tracer has 150,000 miles and the Taurus has 130,000 miles. Which one would be a better buy, both are around 00. Any suggestions?

And How do I change it, can I just use the normal bulbs for turn signals? Or do I have to buy something different, I normally have no problem finding the son of a gun on any of my other cars, but I cannot find it on the taurus, thanks alot!!
And for the smartA** that answered earlier, I know it is in the trunk, but I can’t seem to find it, I pulled what I thought was the bulb out and it was just wires.

It’s a 95 Taurus, and the cd player is a Nextar NCD50. I’m not really sure how to go about doing all this, and the instruction manual is not so specific. Thanks!

2600 for cavalier with 160000 miles on it, 4000 for taurus with 106000 miles on it with tinted windows- both in good condition
Taurus in my area KBB for "good" condition is 5400. I know KBB is usually a high estimate, but 4000 is over 650 less than "fair" condition- Taurus in definitely in great condition

However, cavalier is free and clear, but the taurus still has money owed on it. Just some more background on each!

I was going to look for an RCA port to see if I could wire subs but unfortunately I have the 96′ taurus, with its egg-console shape which the radio is in. Im pretty sure removing it has something to do with the 4 holes on each corner of the console. THANKS!
