the first is motor mounts and a transmission for a 1991 Ford Taurus and the second is a complete door kit with power locks and windows for a 1993 Ford F150
We had a red one…had tranny problems at 28,000mi…other nuisance things, like when it rained, the car would flood….motor mounts, what else…but I still loved and miss that car..it was a tank!
My husband is looking for a manual and/or pictures on a website and directions so he can put motor mounts in a 96 taurus we just bought. We really need your help so any car mechanics or anyone that knows how to do this please let us know asap. Give us any information you have or know of please. Thanks so much!
to pageken or anyone: Can you replace the motor mounts without pulling the entire motor out?
Please…I need your help. I took my 2006 Ford Taurus to the Ford dealership and they said nothing is wrong with it, even though they can hear and feel a clunk in reverse and in drive. The problem is when I leave every morning, I have to make a 3 point turn (U-turn). So I turn the steering wheel to turn around and can’t make it. So I stop when I’m near the curb and place the car in reverse then back up and then it clunks. As I back up enough to make the 3 point turn (U-turn) I place it in drive and drive away when it clunks again. The clunk feels like it’s coming from the front end of the car. What the heck is it???? PLEASE someone help me. My waranty is almost up.
BTW: The Ford dealership has checked the struts, motor mounts, and the transmission twice. They said, I just have to live with it.
