I drive a Taurus http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/46/2004-2007_Ford_Taurus_Sedan.jpg and recently the left side turn signal blinks very fast … blink, blink. blink, blink, blink.
The right side goes blink ….. blink ….. blink ….. blink ….. blink like it should.
The left side is at least 3 times faster than the right side. Any thoughts on this slightly bothersome issue?? Should I change the fuse/fuses?
It’s only done this for a few weeks … it just irks me. (smiling)
Thanks and thumbs up to all who answer! Just give me time to get back and read the answers.
Thanks for your answers!
Yes, I have a 2007 ford taurus.
The power point has blown a fuse - and the (#($(*#*($ car didnt come with a manual. Can anyone tell me what number fuse to replace?
It seems that some of my dashboard lights have burned out. I have one left working…behind the speedometer thankfully! Is there a fuse or an easy way that I can fix this on my own or is this something that a mechanic would need to do because of location or special tools?
Thanks!
2007 Ford Taurus. Fuse for windows, outside mirrors keeps blowing or not working. Dealership couldn’t find problem. Said it could be a wire anywhere in the car which would cost a fortune to look for. Anyone have this problem and know what wire it was? Dealership said it could be because of the cold winter weather. Could that be the case?
I have a 2002 Ford Taurus SE. There are two cigarette lighter adapters in my dash board and I have fried the lower one. I bought my car used and do not have an owner’s manual. If someone could help me locate which fuse I need to replace that woulud be great
Also how much would the estimated cost be for fixing it…? I am about to take a road trip and having it broken would be an enormous inconvenience… Help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, the fuse is not blown. If that helps… I’m useless with cars. I plugged in a 110 volt inverter into the outlet before it burned out. I think that’s what did it in the first place.
My heater in my Ford Taurus 1999 just went out about a month ago. Unfortunately, an artic blast is on its way here (fastly approaching) and I’ve looked at the manual online and searched AutoZone. I’m confused. Does my car require a fuse to "re-ignite" the heater or should I take it to the local Ford dealership where they will try to take ALL OF MY MONEY? Please help . . . it’s getting cold outside!!!
I’ve never had it flushed out because I bought it used. Perhaps I should consider that option. My Dad said that it might just be the fuse . . . I may take it to a smaller shop; however, the shop that I used previously was AMORAL!!!
You guys have given me the greatest answers! It is too difficult to choose! Thank you ALL so much!!!
what is it? a fuse? because all my fuses are fine. They still light on when i brake.
basically I need a diagram that shows which fuse is which
