I have a 2000 Taurus doc. and when it idle’s it will die, when i first start it up it idle’s at about 1100 for about 20seconds then drops below 1000, then it will die, it has died on me while sitting at a stop light a few times now, i have replaced the fuel filter thinking it will fix it but it did not do much. does anyone know whats going on?

My engine light goes on and off. Usually it comes on right as i hit somewhere between 45 to 50 mph. Then sometimes it will go off again when I let off the gas. I have notice when I go real slow it sputters and I know I need new shocks. But other than that the car runs great.When I say sputters sometimes I do mean hardly ever. Please help or tell me how to help myself without going to mechanic.
fuel filter has been replaced but last year, could it be my fuel pressure regulator or my fuel injectors?Or something else

I have a 95 Ford Taurus and I need to know where the feul pump is located because I believe that it was inadvertently switched off. I do not have the owners manual, I bought the car the other day and it did not have the manual. The car started stalling ever time that I came to a stop. Finally, it would not start again. I have no idea what is happening. The engine seems as if it is getting no gas. Please help me if you can. I need the car for work.
The fuel line was flushed this morning, right before the problem started. Is it possible that clogged the fuel filter?

This is for Ford Techs Especially it idles, it sounds like its gurgling. It has a brand new fuel filter and it has 83K on it. It sometimes comes off the line slow, I’m thinking maybe a bad injector, because sometimes it even seems like its missing. But it was just at Ford and they noticed the rusting fuel filter but it makes this noise as it idles and when the a/c is on and it had a full load, give me your general thoughts.

this is my kids car. he put gas in it, drove a mile or so and it stalled out. He then was unable to restart it. It cranks fine but will not start. He changed the coil, fuel filter and plug wires(he did not have tools to change plugs….I get to do that in the morning). Is there a fusible like or something like a Chrysler ballast resister on a Ford? Thanks for ANY help provided

well i have a 1993 ford taurus v6 3.0 and the relay control module(F1DF-12B577-AA) keeps on burning out about a mile down the road. If it would help i have replaceed the , fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump relay(square box beside battery), voltage regulator. None of these helped.
