I was turning at a busy intersection the other day, and my car just switched to the battery. It didnt let me move the steering wheel or accelerate. This has happened five times already, but even after i took it back to the ford dealership, they couldn’t find the problem. Does anyone know what may be the problem?

I am thinking about buying a 1995 ford taurus but the speedometer doesn’t work. I was wondering if i could use a part off of my 1994 ford taurus in order to fix the problem if i bought the 1995 ford taurus. Is that possible?

Why FORD? Why did you paste the good Taurus name on the NON-SELLING Ford 500? Have anyone seen the, pains me to say, "new" Taurus? Man all it is, is the Ford 500 renamed. Why don’t they use the Lincoln LS platform and skin it a little different and come back with the SHO using the Australian Ford Falcon XR8 engine/trans package: 5.4L V8 engine
6-sp manual or optional 6-sp auto with Sequential Sports Shift or even the Falcon XR6 Turbo engine/trans package: 4.0L I6 Turbo engine 6-sp manual or optional 6-sp auto with Sequential Sports Shift. That would be SOOO bad a** I would definitely buy that.
It is true the 500 replaced the Taurus, but the 500 came out with a new design to replace the Taurus, a design that apparently is not selling, I guess that is my point, change the design. Don’t just rename it to the car that did sell, make it a car that will sell who cares what it is called.

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus V6. I want to put a muffler on it to make it loud and aggressive sounding. What muffler should I put on there without breaking the bank? I am open from mufflers like ones you would put on a mustang or ones you would put on a ricer.

Whats wrong with Ford

I just bought a 1987 Ford Taurus LX as a project car, to run to work and back and to work on as a hobbie. I love this car, everything works great.. except the radio. For some reason, when you turn the radio on there is no sound coming out of the speakers, but you can hear the ‘click’ from the speakers when you turn on the radio. It doesn’t get FM at all, but VERY RARELY you will here a faint voice or two from a random AM station, but it only lasts a second or two. The radio is the original AM/FM/Casset player the car came with in 87′, when you move the ‘bass’ ‘trebble’ ‘fade’ etc, you can here static coming out of the speakers.. but no sound.

Before I rip this baby out, I want opinions of what it could be. Anything helps, thanks!

How many Motor Mounts are on a 1995 Ford Taurus SE?

I’ve seen and heard something rather similar to this on a Ford Taurus [but that car probably had a V6, unless a higher performance engine was installed in that car.] It seems pretty cool, and I always imagine what having that kind of sound on my car would be like, but at the same time, I’m a little iffy about it in terms of the warranty being voided, and that it might be bad for the car. I’m *pretty* sure the warranty will be voided, but would it be bad for the car? And is it bad for that Ford Taurus?
What other problems are there with this that I probably missed?

There is a lot to this story but to make a long story short. I recently moved in with my boyfriend of 5 years into our own apartment. Shortly after I decided to lease a car. I should have made this decision more responisibly. Now I am stressing out so much because I have all these bills coming at me. By any chance does someone know if I can trade the car for something cheaper? Right now I would like to just give the car back and not have to worry about all of this. I leased this 2012 Ford Taurus on 09/5/11. Am I in time to do something or is it way too late?? Please help me
