In the back on the trunk module, it has the tail/reverse light covers. It is a long piece of black plastic, it spans across the length of the trunk itself. I want to know what it is called so I can price one out. This is for a 1998 Ford Taurus SE. (Sedan)
Why dose a 1998 ford taurus car , when it is cold will not start up, or shut off when put into gear?
I am looking to buy this 1998 ford taurus for 600.00. The guys saids the check ingine light stays on. When it is cold and you shift it in to gear it will shut off. But when it warms up it runs and moves fine. Why? What do you think it is…something expensive to fix or not?…Please help…don't want to buy a lemon. Thanks
I have a 1998 Ford Taurus SE 12 Valve 3.0L Engine and it is not getting any fire. I have already replaced the Crank and Cam Position Sensors What else could it be?
I have already changed the coil pack. It has been intermittant. Changed Cam and Crank Sensors and coil pack/ Still has no fire. Ford said to try changing the cam syncronizer but they want 0.00 for it. How is that to install?
I have a 1998 Ford Taurus that died while driving it on the freeway. I initially thought it was the fuel pump but a mechanic that I know told me it is more likely to be the fuel shut off valve. Where can I find this on a 1998 Ford Taurus?
Thanks for your help guys. I found it very easily. However, when I hit the red button it didn't really move much, I only heard a click and didn't feel it go down significantly. I didn't hear the click again when I tried pushing it a second time. Is that subtle click all I need? The car still won't start. The battery is brand new and I have a feeling that I am not getting power in the cable going to the shut off switch. I tried lighting a bulb with the battery, the towing light adapter and it lit but it wouldn't light with the cable going into the shut off switch. Any ideas on what my next move should be?

How much would it cost lo-hi range to fix a transmission problem.
Would flushing the fluid and replacing help, it has never been done.
