Short burst of Smoke from my 2000 Ford Taurus Engine?
My 2000 Ford Taurus occassionaly puffs out smoke from the Engine. This has occured twice in short quick burst and I have been unable to locate the source of the smoke. What can be wrong with my Engine?

HOW MANY MILES ARE ON THIS VEHICLE ?????
WHAT SIZE OF ENGINE AS WELL ?????
CHECK ALL OF YOUR FLUID LEVELS FIRST.
YOU COULD HAVE ENGINE BLOW-BY WHICH COULD BE AS SIMPLE AS REPLACING THE PCV VALVE AND CHECKING OR REPLACING THE TUBE FOR THE PCV VALVE.
I think that your head gasket is ready to blow .
your spark plug is loose
Could be valve seals.
All I can tell you is a color code scheme for detecting what type of smoke it is. White smoke is water, black smoke engine running rich with gas, blue smoke oil…
depends upon the smoke and when it happens… these things have been having their fair share of valve issues with this one year and what you see maybe the first signs of weakening seals in the valve guides or broken springs… recommend a shop to further diagnose
