There is a special tool for Ford radios you can get at any parts store for about $2. You just stick them in the pair of holes on each side of the radio. and it will pull it out.

Don't use hangers. It can mess it up for future use and the tool is only $2.

Thats it

Cut two long pieces of wire hanger and bend them into a long U shape and insert them into the two holes on each side of the deck until it locks. Then just pull the deck out.

Yes use the special tool, Inside the 4 holes are small spring clips, if you push them out too far, the only way you'll get the deck out is with a flat screwdriver and a prybar and the deck will be completely F'd! You can fluke out with the hangers as some are thinner than others but!!. I got 2 decks out with the hangers and the next removal was done with the above mentioned "special tools", my new pickups deck was removed with the actual tools and it came out very nicely. Don't know where you live but I got mine at Canadian tire, you can also get them at wal mart.
