please help me on your thoughts or personal experiances with THESE 2 vehicles! thanks both cars look to be in great shape and priced at ,775 but i would ask for less. mileage on these is kinda high but both my current vehicles are almost at 200k and still running. thanks for your help!

I have a 1989 Ford Taurus GL 3.0L Vulcan, so about 140 Horsepower brand new and 160 Torque. It has 92’500 miles on it, and climbing since its my car I drive to high school, and all around town. I recently did a tune up on it. I changed the spark plugs, to platinum ones, good for 75’000 miles. New Rotor, fuel filter, I cleaned the air filter, a KNN one by the way, and ran fuel injector cleaner in it in mid August or 2009. I put Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner in it always. I also, around mid October of 2009, disabled the fuel system, and had help from my auto shop teacher to hook up a can of injector cleaner to the car, so that’s all the car ran on. I recently, about 3 weeks ago, put another thing of lucas fuel injector cleaner in the car. What I do is I put the cleaner in, at the gas station, right before I fill the tank, completely. I did the mileage, and I had got around 14 MPG. 50 miles of that was on the freeway, 70 MPH. Not very much was from warming up, and the rest was in town mileage. My sister did some driving, and yes shes a bit hard on the pedal, but nothing way out of whack, uses the pedal a bit more than me and she only drove it for maybe 20 miles, out of the total 145.1 that I got on this tank. The rest I did. I wouldn’t say I drive like a granny, but I don’t drive like a bad out of hell either. I could learn to take off from stops a bit easier, but I just drive the car the way it should be I think. Is there anything else I can do to increase my mileage?

It was working perfectly until one day it stopped, I thought it just needed a new battery so I bought the battery and still nothing.

Ok wich direction does a 1998 ford taurus tension belt turn I need to know soon my friends are stuck on the side of the road ?!?!?!

I want to be able to listen to my iPhones mp3 player over speakers but I don’t want to use an fm transmitter. But the problem is that the climate controlls are built into the radio so I can’t just put a new one in.

I’m 28 years guys working as Microsoft Systems Engineer and going to marry after 6 months, i’m confused between those 2 cars, i love the most:

The good interior quality
The Motor acceleration
To live with me as long as possible ( My use so nice, all inside the city )
Safety and stability

I want a car that make me enjoy driving it but the most important that car not making me go mechanics for long time .. i will buy any of both brand new

Please no one give me another recommendation, just choose between the above cars and tell me why

Thanks a lot

I have a ’96 Ford Taurus and it has developed a slow radiator leak. It drips in small, but noticeable amounts. Is it possible it is just a loose hose or the pump?

DRAGON 2012
"Great fortune for U.S."

It stopped pulling suddenly as I was taking off at a light. There were no noises, no slippage, no hesitation, and the fluid is clean. The linkage is fully connected and the car will go into park. I do most of my own work but have little experience with transmissions.

I have a 1993 ford taurus SHO and my transmition went out. How much would it cost to get repaired?

i am looking at a 2003 taurus, but have been told they are not real dependable and are expensive to repair?

Paint stripper was poured all over the trunk and ate into the metal.

Why FORD? Why did you paste the good Taurus name on the NON-SELLING Ford 500? Have anyone seen the, pains me to say, "new" Taurus? Man all it is, is the Ford 500 renamed. Why don’t they use the Lincoln LS platform and skin it a little different and come back with the SHO using the Australian Ford Falcon XR8 engine/trans package: 5.4L V8 engine
6-sp manual or optional 6-sp auto with Sequential Sports Shift or even the Falcon XR6 Turbo engine/trans package: 4.0L I6 Turbo engine 6-sp manual or optional 6-sp auto with Sequential Sports Shift. That would be SOOO bad a** I would definitely buy that.
It is true the 500 replaced the Taurus, but the 500 came out with a new design to replace the Taurus, a design that apparently is not selling, I guess that is my point, change the design. Don’t just rename it to the car that did sell, make it a car that will sell who cares what it is called.
