		<description>Starters can go just like that with no warning.

If the battery is dry, it's possible the battery is your problem. The lights and Radio draw very little amperage compared to the starter motor. However typically jump starting it will give it enough from the donor car. However if the battery is as dry as you seem to indicate, it's still possible that it's the battery.

Take the battery into autozone or similar parts store to be tested. They will also test your starter motor for free to determine if either one of those is the problem.</description>

If you shut the car off I'd have a mechanic look at the starter.  

Do you get clicks or whirring or anything when you crank?  

Are the lights dim when they come on?  if so might be alternator but I'd start with starter, depending on the car might be only $125- 200 bucks.</description>
