I have a 1999 Ford Taurus and I want to put a body kit on it?
I have enough money for a body kit and turbo.
My 1999 Ford Taurus is ugly but with the body kit and turbo I think it would be beastly.
What do you think, and what would be the cost of this?

Don’t do it. The transmission in a Taurus will never hold up to a turbo.
seriously? a taurus?
sell the taurus and use that money plus what you have for something that is already sporty. something like a honda civic, integra, 240, etc. it seems you are into more tuner style. but bodykits are 1990′s man.
Don’t waste your time. If you have enough money for a turbo then you have enough money to buy a 94-98 Mustang GT and Take what you get from selling the taurus and buy Parts for the stang with that.
Do you know how a turbo system works?
You’re looking at $2,000 for the complete system
(manifold, IC and piping, custom oil feed/return lines)
That’s without bigger injectors.. full exhaust.. a tune, so it doesn’t run like crap..
THEN you have the labor to install that crap..
So, $4-$5k for a turbo kit up and running..
for what another 30hp.. anything beyond 7psi would pop that engine..
what’s a 99 taurus worth?
don’t do it.. save your money and buy something that’s turbo
Conquest, Talon/Eclipse, etc.. even turbo Volvo’s are quick..
all those cars can be had for half of what you’d spend on a kit..
and they would all beat the pants off a Taurus..
hope this helps.
sell it and buy a mustang gt or camaro ss
I think that would be very cool. The cost depends on how/ where you get parts, and what you can build for your self. Maybe you can get a turbo from a vehicle in a junkyard. I bet you’d have to relocate the battery to the trunk too. What engine do you have: Vulcan or Duratec?
