I have a 1989 ford taurus that has good fuel pressure, no spark good module and “J” box no start?
I changed the fuel pump and the car ran. Filled the tank up and drove 2 blocks and it died and wouldn't start it has no spark I've changed the ignition module, pickup coil j box and even the whole distributor

I would check the ground wires near the battery. Sometimes they get broken or corroded, and this will stop the car from having spark. There is also a fuel pump/power relay near the battery that might not be good.
two types of fuel pumps.one from ford as a complete unit and a pump only from auto zone.a lot of the time the auto zone one is not properly installed and causes this
Must have spark checked at the plug wire boot with a test light if there is no spark there it the module, module has two sides primary & secondary so you may verfiy spark but no primary spark witch would be at the plug boot, ground a test light and pull off a boot have some one spine motor over and make sure it has spark inside the boot then go from there ok,but if it someting right after you change the fuel pump ,question why did you change the fuel pump, when a car starts acting up dont start changing parts cause you will never fix it and never know whats wrong with it you need to do proper diaginoss first if bad then replase you jus tchanging parts thats not fixing it you now could any one of the parts you put on could be bad see this is why you need to start over and verfiy somethings first good luck
Check the voltage regulator they do go bad and would stop you from getting a spark.
