offer 1175.00 on the car if its nice and in good condition and see where it goes but before you offer explain your situation and maybe the seller will understand, all he can say is no. it never hurts to ask, right?

You are paying too much for a 13 year old Ford Taurus. I would not offer more than $1000.

$1500 +$55 for parking is 1555. Insurance will be in the neighborhood of $1700 per year, so maybe $150 a month or so, tax will be around $125, title and registration probably another $75. So with a bare minimum there youll need $1930 just to get it on the road. So no, you dont have enough money.

Is that with tax? I would offer $1350 if that doesn’t work tell them that $1400 is all you can afford. But at $1400 you should be able to afford all that.
