		<description>tensioner gone in 2 years sounds like you have a dealer issue but none the less rub some soap any kind on the belt that should quiet it enough to actually hear any metal niose. on the other hand the only other things it can be is the pullys on everything else the serpentine belt rides on</description>

		<description>the ball bearings are probably worn down. too much tension can put extra stress on the ball bearings wearing it down quicker. many tensioners have marks on the housing to properly adjust the belt to.
somebody put too much tension on the belt. also check the belt for worn grooves and (or) dirt and debris.</description>
