the drums slide on over the wheel studs. If the drums won't slide off easily then the brake is adjusted too tight. use a brake adjustment tool and adjust them down all the way, this will stop the brake shoes from binding on the drum so you can take it off. if the brake shoes have been run for way too long, you may have a ridge on the shoe that is embedded into the surface of the drum, and it will only come off by adjusting them all the way down, and you may need a pry bar. you may end up buying a new set of drums.
take a decent sized hammer and hit the drum in between the studs a bunch of times so the rust on the drum breaks loose holding it on, then all ya have to do is pull the drum off, it migh be hard to pull it off if there is a rust ridge in the drum but it will come off.
