How do I take out the headlight of a 1995 Ford Taurus?
Every time it rains. the front bulb shorts out b/x water gets into the light. We have replaced the bulb several times, but it keeps happening. We need to take the whole light assembly out. The manuals do not show how to do this.

Open the hood, remove any panels covering the light, and unhook the wiring harness. The light is generally held in place with four screws or bolts. Remove them, but mark the allignment. The light pretty much just screws out.
there should be 2 screws on each side it maybe on the inside right be hind it
i have a taurus just take the four screws out after that its a piece of cake easiest fix ever
2 lbs shop hammer
Hi all, I have a 1994 Taurus GL, I also have the two headlight assemblies I need to replace because of what appears to be constant moisture intrusion because of failed seals. I am looking for any additional help I may need to change them out. It appears I need to remove the grille in order to remove the assemblies. Does anyone know if the grille is also needed to remove the marker light assemblies? I have one that the lens has separated from the rear part of the housing so I need to replace that also. If I need to remove the grille for the marker lamp assembly then I should wait until I have theat assy before I do the entire job. The worst part is I have to do all my work outside and winter is fast approaching. Thank you all in advance for any help. Steve H.
