		<description>Actually, the Challenger engine DOES have better fuel economy.  Like you said, the rear axle uses more power.  Also, the Challenger weighs over 4,000 pounds while the Taurus is around 3,000.  Because of this, the engine has to use more power to move the Challenger than it would the Taurus.

If the Challenger engine was in the Taurus, it would get more MPG, and if the Taurus engine was in the Challenger, it would get less MPG.</description>
