Ford Taurus Transmission?
was driving a 1991 ford taurus with only 22,000 miles on it which had been sitting for about a year. after 800 miles noticed a burnt rubber smell and trail of transmissio fluid behind car. could this be a simple thing like the pan gasket or is it more likely a major failure

most likely you blew a trans line. but yes it could be more serious or might even be a hole rusted thru pan find leak and if nee help mail me kmp1171@att.net
I had one of those once. It blew the transmission 3 times. Every 30k like clockwork. Run far far away from that vehicle.
