Ford Taurus 2008-2012 Archives

It started slowly and now it is almost unreadable. Any clues??

Sorry if this is an obvious question.

Here is the made up scenerio: I have premium full coverage Geico insurance and a 1996 Ford Taurus. My Taurus (paid off) gets totaled and can’t be repaired.

Will I be given a new 2012 Taurus? If so, will it be financed or paid off like the 1996 one?

Who will win ?

please help me on your thoughts or personal experiances with THESE 2 vehicles! thanks both cars look to be in great shape and priced at ,775 but i would ask for less. mileage on these is kinda high but both my current vehicles are almost at 200k and still running. thanks for your help!

I’m 28 years guys working as Microsoft Systems Engineer and going to marry after 6 months, i’m confused between those 2 cars, i love the most:

The good interior quality
The Motor acceleration
To live with me as long as possible ( My use so nice, all inside the city )
Safety and stability

I want a car that make me enjoy driving it but the most important that car not making me go mechanics for long time .. i will buy any of both brand new

Please no one give me another recommendation, just choose between the above cars and tell me why

Thanks a lot

I have a ’96 Ford Taurus and it has developed a slow radiator leak. It drips in small, but noticeable amounts. Is it possible it is just a loose hose or the pump?

Also, what is the interior and trunk space compared to a 2006 Chevy Impala?

I’ve seen and heard something rather similar to this on a Ford Taurus [but that car probably had a V6, unless a higher performance engine was installed in that car.] It seems pretty cool, and I always imagine what having that kind of sound on my car would be like, but at the same time, I’m a little iffy about it in terms of the warranty being voided, and that it might be bad for the car. I’m *pretty* sure the warranty will be voided, but would it be bad for the car? And is it bad for that Ford Taurus?
What other problems are there with this that I probably missed?

There is a lot to this story but to make a long story short. I recently moved in with my boyfriend of 5 years into our own apartment. Shortly after I decided to lease a car. I should have made this decision more responisibly. Now I am stressing out so much because I have all these bills coming at me. By any chance does someone know if I can trade the car for something cheaper? Right now I would like to just give the car back and not have to worry about all of this. I leased this 2012 Ford Taurus on 09/5/11. Am I in time to do something or is it way too late?? Please help me :(

I am looking at buying a Ford Taurus Limited. I found one that has 10,000 miles and they are asking ,800. It has heated seats but no moon/sunroof. They have had it for over 60 days and have dropped from the original price of ,995. Do you think they could drop the price some more? Any other thoughts on the vehicle itself?

Does anyone know what is the minimum speed you must be going to enable the use or cruise control on an 2008 Taurus? Iv only tried it doing about 30-40mph and it wont work… I realize that the cruise control feature is intended for highway use, but I find it weird you can’t use it whenever you want too. is their any cars that let you use cruise control freely? (at any speed)?

My 96 Ford Taurus needed this and I forgot to ask what the cause was. They had to do a lot of switching around due to being sent the wrong color column(to match my car) and I was trying to keep up with it all.

That is just it, I am not hard on the steering wheel.

I have a 2000 V6 Ford Mustang and the engine doesn’t do it for me…i want more out of it, I have the option to buy a 2010 Ford Taurus Sho engine but i want to know if it will fit or even work with a rear wheel drive car??

For my sixteenth birthday, my parents are thinking about getting me the 2009 Ford Taurus…and do you think it’s a cute car for a teen? Now let me remind you, it’s the 2009 (because the old ones WERE gross looking)

…I probably will just ask for another car but what are your views on the 2009 Ford Taurus anyways?
Thanks! I’ll choose best answer!
