A 1996 ford taurus for 1100. i want to go see how it is but i just wanted to know if it was a good price for the car
The real deal or not.
I have sold my 2000 Ford Taurus and bought a 2009 Toyota Corolla. I still have my old Taurus snow tires “Artic Alpin” in my garage with 16” size P215/60R16 95Q with “universal rims” on, which still have some good treads left And, my Corolla also has 16” tire size P205/55R16 89H M+S at this moment, which presumably is a all season tire.
The fact that they both are 16” tire means it is OK & safe to install my Taurus snow tires onto my Corolla? Thanks.
Based on the aspect ratio, the sidewall height of both tires are:
taurus 129Mm
corolla112.75Mm
Ht diff16.25Mm
16.25mm =0.6398 inches, which means that the Taurus snow tires are ONLY 0.6398 inches taller than my current corolla tires.
I really want to buy an American car to help out the economy, but more specifically a Ford since they are not wanting to get a handout…I mean bailout from the government. The problem is is that there are not really a ton that interest me except the 2009 Mazda6 and since it is owned by the Ford motor company and the car is made in the USA wouldn’t buying one be just as helpful to them as say buying a Ford Taurus or is it more complicated than that?
it looked like it 2 me.
I have a JUNKY 98 Ford Taurus. I definitley bought a lemon. Now I need to car shop but I am kind of clueless when it comes to it. I want a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav4…something small suv-ish. The problem is that I can’t afford more than about 0/month. I don’t need a brand new 2009 car- but I also don’t want a 2000… any suggestions?
I thinking about getting another Ford Taurus a 2010 model by next year, i have a 2005 Taurus. And it has been pretty good to me. Now when Ford came out with the 2008 Five Hundred, Oops! i meant 2008 Taurus, i was not too impressed with that model and then Ford finally came out with the 2010 Taurus! which i thinks is sharp. Now i have not test drove any, but looking at the pricing for the SHO i would not pay ,000 for no Tuarus as much as i like them. I am not a big fan of the Toyota and i Hate Hondas but i would buy the Camry before i brought a ,000 Taurus
I like the Taurus a lot but if i go to spend ,000, i`d much rather by it cousin the Lincoln MKS which i think is sharp also
As en engine ages, how fast does it’s mpg deteriorate?
I’m interested in the Ford Freestyle. Maybe 40,000miles or so. It is now called the Ford Taurus X. So why do I want the old Freestyle and not the new Taurus X?
Well, one of the biggest complaints of the Freestyle was the there was not enough engine power. So they ramped it up. Only problem, they went from 27 mpg in the 2005-2007 Freestyle to 24 mpg in the 2008-2009 Taurus X.
Does it make a difference at this point? If I buy a 2005 Freestyle does it still have 27 mpg, or has it realistically fallen to 24 mpg by now…and I might as well get a new Taurus X?

I read that it has brake support, but it just says the brakes are precharged. Does this mean that the car will brake, if you don’t?

I just saw a commercial for the 2010 Ford Taurus with radar sensors in its rear quarter panels, to detect vehicles in blind spots, and it made me wonder if it would affect a radar detector if it was in your car. Does it use the same Ka waves as Law Enforcement? I know automatic doors set off radar detectors as well. Correct Answer gets 10.
I know in the main question it says uns, but i ment detectors.

Just out of curiosity. I would buy the Ford.
I actually think it is a pretty nice car, very good technology, and gas milage.
