Can I use the brakes from my 1989 Mercury Sable for my 1997 For Taurus?
I had a 1989 Mercury Sable, which is the same thing as the 1989 Ford Taurus, and I’m wondering if the brakes on the back are interchangeable between the two.

I would have to say No even though they are actually the same car the year are very different… Usually you can interchange parts on similar vehicles about 2-3 years older or 2-3 years newer than yours…. But just to be sure i’d suggest calling a wrecking yard and ask them what vehicles and years are interchangeable with your Taurus.
