Can I put a battery from my 1997 Plymouth Grand Vouyeger into my 2002 Ford Taurus?
If not what size do I need for my Ford?
cold cranking amps on the ford are 540 and on the van 600. looks like the van battery would fit but not sure if the difference in cca is gonna matter or not.

if you re-route it and use it for a 2nd battery or a power backup then yes
if not just go to any wal-mart, autozone, pepboys, sears and pick up a battery made for the 2002 ford taurus
HI
Look over both battery’s and see if the post are in the same place and the the Cranking amps are the same and then yes if they are the same you can switch them.
good luck
Tim
Yes, should be no problem, as long as the battery fits in the battery box.
You can easily check that, just by looking at the battery and seeing if it will fit.
It just needs to fit the space available and the posts need to be the right type (side or top mount) and be reachable by the cables.
ford taurus uses a reverse post battery.
