anyone got tricking out ideas for a 1995 Ford Taurus SHO?
i have a 1995 Ford Taurus SHO that i’m slowly but surely starting to deck out some and pimp it up some. looking for ideas. it’s a beautiful dark green color with gray leather interior. i recently put a light gold tiny barbed wire pin stripe on it. any one else have any other ideas?

Leave the engine alone! The 3.4 liter V8 engine is made by Yamaha, and any and all replacement parts must be shipped from Japan! Can take weeks. The weak point on these engines are the camshaft sprockets like to detach themselves from the cams. No replacement is available. If it is running fine, leave it alone. A short block without heads and cams is 14,000 dollars for your vehicle! I repeat 14 thousand dollars! I kid you not! If you want to enjoy the car for a while, do not make engine modifications.
Update: For the poster below me, the SHO Taurus in stock form would eat a Civic alive, your rice burner wouldn’t stand a chance. Who is the poser now?

SHO has a great engine but the body sucks. There’s not much you can do to it to help it out.

i have seen a few people put some decent body kits on these cars. i would stay away from all of that "pimp my ride" crap. just get you some nice wheels, tint the windows and get yourself a nice tasteful rear wing. not one of those fast and the furious wings( its not a space shuttle) just something tasteful. then concentrate on the engine mods. i.e. exhaust and intake parts. have fun with it

i have a 92 sho and like they said leave the body alone i put a nice set of 18s on it and tinted the windows i dont think it could look any better i plan on doin a engine swap this winter if the money is there i have a spare 3.0 motor that im going to put the 3.2 heads on.. and RICHIE5488 ill eat up ur shitty civic in second
