i assume that you mean 8 not 88. I would say you missed the slight pause in the flashing of the code . # 8 code is a problem with the front crash sensors. check the connections and make sure they are grounded to the frame OK. The code 88 does not exist. Good luck.
Rodney is correct on the code count… I can’t find my old reference for those codes…but that model uses a older version that only flashed one digit codes
