An important car for Ford’s well being when it was introduced in 1986 and produced to the current date. Do you think they could have made it without the Taurus or did it save Ford? Thanks.

My 1996 Ford Taurus G runs like crap, so i’m buying a new one; a 1997 Ford Taurus SE. The thing is that the SE doesn’t have a front bumper on it, so does anyone know if i’m able to take the bumper off the G and place it on the SE?

My problem is with my car….The car wants to turn over but it won’t. The battery is strong, the alternator is good. It’s not the starter…cause it does not have a clicking sound. I already had a tuneup and an oil change.
Before it stopped it was sputtering while I was at a light then my check engine light came on and then it stalled. I tried to get a jump but that didn’t work.
So does anyone have an idea what it could be?

Need a new starter for 2001 ford taurus SE V6 and Advanced, Oreiley, etc have different price levels. I usually go for the best tires, brakes when it makes a difference, but will it for a starter? And will it make 0 of difference? Bumper wants ~0+core, checker wants ~0+core.

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus SE, and i want to install an after-market radio. I have searched online, and have come up short. I have found plenty of kits for non all digital decks.. Right now I have an after market radio just sitting on the ground hooked up. I am going to move to a bigger city in about a year, so I don’t want to have it just sitting there, waiting to get stolen. Does anyone out there know?

Whenever i driving my 2002 ford taurus going about 50 mph, the car will just shut off for like a second then start back up, and randomly will not start or even try to start when it has been sitting still for a few hours, i just got a new starter so i’m unsure of what is wrong.

My heater in my Ford Taurus 1999 just went out about a month ago. Unfortunately, an artic blast is on its way here (fastly approaching) and I’ve looked at the manual online and searched AutoZone. I’m confused. Does my car require a fuse to "re-ignite" the heater or should I take it to the local Ford dealership where they will try to take ALL OF MY MONEY? Please help . . . it’s getting cold outside!!!
I’ve never had it flushed out because I bought it used. Perhaps I should consider that option. My Dad said that it might just be the fuse . . . I may take it to a smaller shop; however, the shop that I used previously was AMORAL!!!
