my air compressor needs to be replaced, some people are saying it is easy others are saying it is difficult (ie. 00 dollars to fix cause it is so hard). i can't find an engine diagram anywhere for my 2005 ford taurus. the guy at autozone says it is easy to replace. anyone know?

What the heck? My mother-in-law (whose brother works in the parts department at a Ford dealership) said he told her the revamped 2008 Ford Taurus is better ranked than even Toyota/Honda. How did that happen?
Currently have a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu LS with nearly 151,000 miles — with original factory alternator. Routine maintenance is being done, and other than a couple of electronical hiccups very early on which were fixed under warranty (turn signal, false check engine light indicator), nothing has gone wrong with it yet. I commute 60 miles a day and use cruise control most of the time. But I am starting to do my research for another car.

when i start my 1993 ford taurus the motor will rev high and then low then back to high then low like it is breathing. it only does this in park and neutral - it will idle ok in any other gear. thought it was the map sensor but cannot locate it–help please.

I just bought a used 2003 Ford Taurus (43,000 miles) 2 weeks ago and it won't start. The dealer I bought if from told me to tap the starter while someone is trying to start it because it probably has a dead spot on it. The battery is working fine. My questions are should I do this? Will it fix this problem or is is going to be a recurring problem? Should I push the dealer to just replace it? What is the cost to replace a starter? Any feedback is welcomed!

I changed the fuel pump and the car ran. Filled the tank up and drove 2 blocks and it died and wouldn't start it has no spark I've changed the ignition module, pickup coil j box and even the whole distributor

My 2002 Ford Taurus is not blowing hot air from the heater. What could be the problem? I am low on anti-freeze because of a leak in the overflow tank. Could that be part of the problem?

My friends have a 2000 Ford Taurus. They have not had heat for a while now. They have changed the thermostat, flushed the heater core and they know that everything is going through the heater core properly. I have the suspicion that the temperature control door inside the heater/air-conditioning box is stuck to the A/C setting. Does anyone know how to manually adjust this to make it be on the heat setting?

i just found out that i more than likely need to install a 3E715 into my 1995 ford taurus to use the ignition properly. i don’t know how to install the 3E715 let alone what it is? please help me out. thanks.

I have a 1997 ford taurus. I have power windows in it and i cannot get the windows to roll down on their individual switches. I can lower all the windows with the master switch but the individual switches are not lowering them. I replaced the master switch and that didnt do anything. I dont think there is anything wrong with the individual switches because when i lower the windows with the master switch, i can stop the window from moving if i push down on the individual switch on the window i am lowering down. All the motors are working fine in the windows also. Please someone help. Thanks for your answers!!
