2007 Ford Taurus: what are the two levers in my trunk?
I just bought a 2007 Ford Taurus and there is a lever with 3 slots inside the trunk up near the top, on both sides of the trunk just next to the hinge. What are these levers for? I couldn’t find it in the manual anywhere…..

its the tension rods so your trunk stays up.
i think they release the backrests on the rear seats to allow them to drop. that way you can have a bigger trunk space.
