The air filter might be extremely dirty so its starving for air. Same thing happened to my truck, except that it would die, so i replaced the air filter and it hasn't done it since.

Means your idle is to low. It can be alot of different problems , from anything like vacuum leaks, incorrect idle settings, timing, low fuel pressure can cause low idle / idle instability…Need more information to help out further.

you probably need a fuel injection flush. check this out. but first, check to see if you need new spark plugs …this could be the main problem.

Get a bottle of fuel injection cleaner. I have a 2002 and it does that to me too…well did.
