I have a 1996 ford taurus g thats has a power steering leak from the steering boot, how hard is it to fix?

If it’s the steering rack bellows boot you are referring to, the only repair is to have it replaced. Sorry, but this is not a minor repair for any DIYer to attempt. The vehicle will need to have an alignment after the repair.
im not sure but try using power steering stop leak first you my get a little longer before you have to do the repair depending on the amount your lossing
